Our Story

T&L Lawn Care was founded in 2010 when owner Tom Bachur turned an unexpected career setback into an opportunity. After his previous employer abruptly went out of business, Tom chose to pursue a new path. In June of that year, he and his fourteen-year-old daughter, Lauren, launched what they referred to as a summer “experiment.”

With a small but growing group of customers, Tom and Lauren began providing lawn care services built on quality workmanship, attention to detail, integrity, and personalized service. That first summer laid the foundation for what would become T&L Lawn Care LLC. Many of those original customers remain with us today—a testament to the lasting relationships we’ve built and the consistency of our service.

Sixteen seasons later, that summer experiment has grown into one of the area’s most respected lawn care companies. As life progressed, Lauren pursued her own career, but T&L Lawn Care remains a true family business, owned, operated, and managed by Tom and his wife, Kelly. In true family-business fashion, Lauren still lends a hand from time to time when Tom and Kelly are away.

T&L Lawn Care LLC proudly maintains an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and consistently earns outstanding reviews on Google and Yelp.

The company is rooted in the values Tom developed during his 20-year career with a local police department. Although he retired from law enforcement in 2003, the principles of integrity, accountability, and service he carried throughout his career continue to guide the culture and daily operations of T&L Lawn Care LLC.
